Helping Hands is a community service based group that is offered to students currently in fifth grade. Helping Hands consists of 20 students that are willing to lend his or her time to make a difference in the world. We plan and host an Alex's Lemonade Stand, collect and donate items to the Ronald McDonald House, sell Ram Grams to support Project Santa, construct and donate baby blankets to local hospitals, show support to our Veterans, clean up our school playground, and much more...
The advisers of Helping Hands are Mrs. Buffetta and Mrs. Kaiser.
Admittance is on a first come, first serve basis. Students must be willing to commit to the dates and be role-models for their peers. All students that want to join helping hands must be recommended by his or her fourth grade teacher. All students accepted into this club will receive a letter of acceptance. If you do not receive a letter, your name will be placed on a waiting list and as soon as a spot becomes available, you will be notified.
